What are we looking for

Cleveland Clinic London are looking to recruit an DDSI Theatre Scrub Practitioner to join our Theatres team with a salary of up to 46581.47 depending on experience.

This is a Monday-Friday role with shifts falling between the hours of 07:30 and 20:30.

The post-holder will also be required to work on-call.

We have eight state-of-the-art theatres covering our Surgical Institutes including a hybrid theatre robotic theatre and Intraoperative MRI facilities. We cover many specialties including Cardiovascular Thoracic Neuro Spinal Orthopaedic Plastics General Surgery Urology and a member of our state-of-the-art perioperative department you will work as a part of a multi-disciplinary team to provide safe effective efficient care for patients and relatives.

What will your duties include

• Assess plan implement and evaluate the needs of patients on an ongoing basis co-ordinating the care given by all members of the clinical team.

• Demonstrate clinical expertise in the care of any patients receiving treatment in the department.

• Adhere to the NMC / HCPC Code of Professional Conduct at all times.

• Manage the clinical workload effectively ensuring care is prioritised appropriately.

• Ensure that accurate records are maintained reflecting both changes in the patients condition and the treatment delivered.

What we need from you

• Suitable experience as an DDSI Scrub Practitioner required.

• Nursing or ODP registration through the Nursing & Midwifery Council (First Level) (NMC) or Health and Care Professional Council (HCPC) required.

• Post-registration qualification relevant to functional specialty i.e. Scrub Practitioner required.

• Evidence of full Occupational Health Clearance for Exposure Prone Procedures (EPP) (Essential)
