About the Role The successful candidate will teach Design & Technology across Key Stage 3, Key Stage 4, and Key Stage 5, delivering inspiring lessons that develop creativity, technical expertise, and practical problem-solving skills. Students follow a broad and ambitious curriculum that includes Product Design, Resistant Materials, engineering principles, design processes, sustainable design, and modern manufacturing techniques. You will guide students through every stage of the design cycle, from research and concept development to prototyping, manufacture, testing, and evaluation. You will also contribute to the wider life of the department through STEM initiatives, design competitions, employer partnerships, and extracurricular projects that enable students to apply their learning beyond the classroom.
