Social Worker Intermediate Care Services

Liquid Personnel is recruiting an experience Social Worker to join our clients Intermediate Care Services Team. This role involves reviewing and assessing a backlog of cases completing standard assessments and ensuring compliance with relevant legislation.

What will your responsibilities be

• Improve Outcomes:Enhance outcomes for adults with care and support needs and carers.
• Strengths-Based Assessments:Undertake effective strengths-based assessments planning and direct work with adults with care and support needs and carers identifying needs in accordance with the Care Act 2014 statutory guidance policy and procedures.
• Safeguarding Duties:Undertake safeguarding duties as required to protect adults with care and support needs from abuse or neglect.
• Professional Practice:Practise social work in a transparent accountable and safe way in accordance with professional standards ethics and values.

Qualifications and Experience:

To be successful in this role you must have;

• Professional Qualification:A recognised professional qualification in social work such as an MA BA BSc in Social Work Diploma in Social Work or CQSW (Certificate of Qualification in Social Work).
• Registration:Must be registered with Social Work England the regulatory body for social workers in England.
• Experience:Significant experience in delivering social work services to vulnerable adults including those with disabilities and complex needs.
• Knowledge of Legislation:Thorough understanding of relevant legislation such as the Care Act 2014 and the Mental Capacity Act 2005.
• Skills:Strong assessment and analysis skills as well as the ability to work effectively within a multidisciplinary team.
• Driving Licence: A full UK driving licence and access to a car are often required for client visits.
