Job description
A well-established precision engineering and manufacturing company is looking to recruit a CNC Machinist to join its growing machining team. Operating from a modern manufacturing facility, the company produces high-quality precision-engineered components for a range of industries. This is an excellent opportunity to join a stable business that invests in its people, equipment and long-term development. The Role As a CNC Machinist, you will be responsible for setting, operating and maintaining CNC machine tools to manufacture precision components to customer specifications. Opportunities are available within both the Milling and Turning departments, with the role suited to someone confident working independently while maintaining high quality standards. Responsibilities * Set and operate CNC machine tools using Fanuc controls. * Manufacture precision components from engineering drawings and technical specifications. * Set tooling, fixtures and machine offsets to ensure efficient production. * Carry out first-off and in-process inspections using a range of measuring equipment. * Identify and resolve basic machining and production issues. * Ensure components are produced to the required quality and tolerance standards. * Maintain a safe, clean and organised working environment. * Follow all company health and safety procedures. * Work closely with Production and Quality teams to achieve manufacturi...
