Spire Leicester Hospital is looking for a passionate and experiencedChemotherapy Specialist Nurseto join our growing Cancer Services team on a 12 month fixed term contract. This is an opportunity to work in a modern well-equipped environment where patient care clinical excellence and continuous improvement are genuinely prioritised.

Youll play a key role in delivering high-quality compassionate care to patients throughout their cancer journeysupporting them when it matters most.

Your Role:

As aSpecialist Chemotherapy Nurse you will:

  • Act as akey worker supporting patients through complex cancer pathways
  • Deliversafe high-quality chemotherapy (SACT)and holistic patient care
  • Work collaboratively withmultidisciplinary teamsto enhance service delivery
  • Assess plan and evaluate care across adynamic and varied caseload
  • Communicate sensitive information with professionalism and empathy
  • Support and driveservice development and quality improvement initiatives
  • Promote best practice ininfection control safety and patient wellbeing

What Were Looking For:

Youll be a confident and compassionate nurse who thrives in a specialist setting:

  • Registered Nurse with relevant oncology experience
  • Qualified inSACT administration(accredited)
  • Competent invenepuncture cannulation and CVAD management
  • Experience managing complex cancer patient caseloads
  • Comfortable workingindependently within a nurse-led environment
  • Strong clinical reasoning and decision-making skills
  • Committed to continuous professional development
