About the Role The successful candidate will teach Drama across Key Stage 3, Key Stage 4, and Key Stage 5, delivering engaging practical and theory-based lessons that inspire students to develop their performance skills, creativity, and understanding of theatrical practice. Students explore a wide range of dramatic styles, practitioners, scripted and devised performance, theatre history, and performance techniques while preparing for GCSE and A-Level Drama and Theatre qualifications. You will encourage students to become confident performers, thoughtful collaborators, and reflective practitioners. You will also play a key role in the wider life of the department by directing school productions, organising theatre visits, leading drama clubs, and supporting performance showcases that celebrate students' creativity and talent.
