Looking for a practice where you can truly make an impact while being supported by an experienced team? The Vet Office is recruiting a Veterinary Surgeon for a modern small animal practice in Ashtead, Surrey , offering an excellent opportunity to join a friendly, collaborative team with the backing of a well-established 24-hour hospital. This role is ideal for a veterinary surgeon who enjoys delivering outstanding clinical care, values teamwork, and is looking for long-term professional growth in a supportive environment. What's on offer? Salary of up to £65,000 , depending on experience. Permanent, full-time position. Strong support from an experienced multidisciplinary team. Close collaboration with a nearby 24-hour hospital, providing access to additional clinical expertise and case support. Excellent opportunities for professional development and career progression. A friendly practice where patient care and team wellbeing are genuine priorities. An exciting practice refurbishment planned for December 2026 , creating an even better working environment. About the Practice The successful candidate will join a well-established and welcoming small animal practice equipped with everything needed to provide a high standard of veterinary care, including: Dental X-ray facilities. 2 Registered Veterinary Nurses (RVNs). 2 Veterinary Care Assistants (VCAs). 1 Client Care Assistant (CCA). 1 Full-time Veterinary Surgeon. The practice benefits from being closely connected to a larger referral and emergency hospital, allowing clinicians to work confidently with additional support whenever required. The Ideal Candidate The practice is looking for a Veterinary Surgeon who: Is passionate about delivering exceptional patient and client care. Enjoys working as part of a supportive and collaborative team. Is enthusiastic, motivated and committed to continuous professional development. Wants to contribute to the continued growth and success of the practice. Holds a full UK driving licence and is comfortable driving a manual vehicle. Why Apply?
