An exciting opportunity has arisen for a talented Pastry Chef de Partie to join the kitchen brigade at one of Suffolks most prestigious luxury hotels.

Awarded 4 AA Red Stars this beautiful historic hotel is home to an acclaimed 2 AA Rosette restaurant combining elegant dining luxury accommodation and an award-winning spa within one of Englands finest medieval villages. The Kitchen

The pastry section plays a central role in the guest experience producing everything from refined desserts and artisan breads to elegant afternoon teas speciality cakes and seasonal pastries.

Working closely with the Head Chef and wider brigade youll have the opportunity to showcase your creativity while maintaining the consistently high standards expected within an award-winning luxury hotel.

The Role

As Pastry Chef de Partie you will take ownership of the pastry section while supporting pastry production throughout the hotel.

Your responsibilities will include:

• Preparing exceptional desserts pastries and bakery products to a consistently high standard
• Producing signature afternoon teas speciality cakes and seasonal desserts
• Baking breads pastries and viennoiserie
• Managing your section during preparation and service
• Assisting with recipe development and seasonal menu changes
• Maintaining excellent food safety hygiene and organisation
• Monitoring stock levels and assisting with ordering
• Supporting the wider kitchen team during busy periods

About You

• Current Pastry Chef de Partie or strong Demi Pastry Chef de Partie ready to step up
• Previous experience within quality hotels restaurants or Rosette-level kitchens
• Passion for pastry baking and seasonal ingredients
• Strong attention to detail and presentation
• Organised reliable and calm under pressure
• Positive attitude with a genuine desire to continue learning and developing
• A team player who enjoys contributing to a collaborative kitchen environment

The Package

• Up to 32000 per annum (Paid Hourly)
• Share of Tronc (approximately 100 per month)
• 4045 hour working week
• Live-in accommodation available (70 per week including two meals per day)
