  • Salary: £95,000 - £100,000 + 10% bonus

  • Location: London Bridge, hybrid (3 days/week in office, core days Tuesday and Thursday)

\nA global provider of financial data and pricing intelligence to the commodities markets is hiring a Programme Manager to help run one of the most important builds in the business's history. This isn't a maintenance role. The platform that generates roughly 80% of company revenue is being rebuilt from scratch, and AI sits at the core of the new solution.\n
\n
\nYou'll join a flat, fast-moving organisation where programme managers work directly with the C-suite, not several layers removed from it. You'll sit alongside two other programme managers, reporting into a senior leader who's replacing someone who left earlier this year, and you'll hold a portfolio of two to three live projects at any time rather than one single brief.\n
\n
\nThe headline project is a 15-month, circa £4-5m platform rebuild, delivered initially by a third-party partner (around 80% of the delivery team) with the plan to flip that ratio over the programme's life so the business takes on more of the work itself. You'll be the primary point of contact for that partner, managing the transition as it happens. Alongside it, your other projects could be technical or commercial: think business transformation, market entry, or M&A-style integration work that pulls in operations, finance, legal, and HR rather than engineering.\n

What They're Looking For:\n

  • 10-15+ years' programme or project management experience across complex, multi-stakeholder environments
    • \n
  • Proven track record managing third-party vendors and delivery partners
    • \n
  • Strong financial governance: budget tracking, invoice reconciliation, business case writing
    • \n
  • Confident, credible stakeholder management up to C-suite level
    • \n
  • Comfortable working in a flat structure without layers of process to hide behind
    • \n

What You'll Work With:\n

  • A live £4-5m, 15-month platform rebuild with AI as a core, not bolt-on, component
    • \n
  • A portfolio of 2-3 concurrent projects spanning both technical and commercial work
    • \n
  • Third-party delivery and architecture partners, plus an in-house transition plan
    • \n
  • Governance frameworks, risk and issue tracking, and financial reporting against budget
    • \n

  • Background in financial services, data, or commodities markets
    • \n
  • Experience managing AI-enabled or vendor-led technical builds

  • Exposure to M&A integration, market entry, or business transformation projects

You could be running governance on a multi-million-pound AI build one day and coordinating legal, HR, and operations on a new market launch the next. The leadership team is hands-on rather than hands-off: they're actively using AI tools themselves to modernise how they run reporting and delivery, so you won't be the only one experimenting. There's also genuine room to grow the role. It doesn't come with direct reports on day one, but as the portfolio gets more complex, so does the team around it.\n
