Welder – Stainless Steel TIG
Location: Derby
Rate: £19.00 - £20.00 per hour (Outside IR35)
Hours: Monday to Friday, 8:00am – 4:30pm
Duration: 12-Month Contract
We are looking for 2 Welders to join a busy engineering and manufacturing business in Derby on a long-term project. This is an excellent opportunity for an experienced Welder with strong TIG welding skills who is looking for consistent work, overtime opportunities, and a secure contract with a substantial workload.
The successful Welder will be working primarily with stainless steel, producing box section frame assemblies for an ongoing customer project. The business has a significant pipeline of work and is looking to strengthen its welding team with skilled TIG professionals who can hit the ground running.
As a Welder, you will be responsible for:
The welding process has been designed for repeatability, with dedicated jigs being introduced to ensure consistency and make production as straightforward as possible. Each frame typically requires around 30 minutes of welding time.
