We have an excellent career opportunity for the role of Live In Carer to join our amazing Home Instead Wakefield branch.
In this job role you will live in a clients home and provide a variety of non-medical services to help them stay independent. For this position a driving licence and access to your own vehicle is required. This is because the client will need to be driven to hospital appointments shopping trips etc.
As a Live In Care professional you have your own room and access to a TV and Wi-Fi. On top of this we offer:
- Paid monthly at the rate of 130.00 plus a 10.00 a day food allowance during placements
- 2 weeks on 2 weeks off
- 2 hour break every day
- Travel expense contribution
- Initial and ongoing training (which is paid)

Key responsibilities:
- Help with everyday tasks such as; meal preparation medication and light housework
- Accompanying to appointments or shopping
- Personal care - supporting our clients with the essentials such as bathing showering dressing and grooming to keep them healthy and independent
- Companionship - ensuring a client enjoys regular and meaningful social interaction is an important part of your visit.
