Production and Supply Chain Coordinator

\nOur client has been established for almost half a century and specialise in the provision of precision engineered components and solutions for supply across a diverse range of industry sectors worldwide. They are now seeking to recruit an experienced and enthusiastic Production and Supply Chain Coordinator to complement their professional procurement and logistics team, and both develop and maintain production schedules, optimise resource utilisation and ensure the smooth flow of materials to meet production and customer demands whilst keeping a critical focus on the customer base, ensuring an excellent standard of service is consistently provided and maintained through effective customer relationship management.
\nCore responsibilities for this varied and challenging Production and Supply Chain Coordinator role will include (but not be limited to):
\nIt is envisaged that the successful Production and Supply Chain Coordinator will possess strong analytical and proactive problem-solving skills to identify areas of improvement and support change management initiatives, with the ability to analyse data, identify trends and develop data-driven solutions.
\n\nYou will have comprehensive experience of working with MRP/ERP systems along with detailed knowledge of both materials and the set up and workings of Javelin and the planning process, and be based within a reasonable commute distance of Tewkesbury. Additionally you will have gained experience in an engineering production environment (ideally in a Production and Supply Chain Coordinator capacity) and demonstrate a good understanding of process flows of data and materials and of an end-to-end supply chain process with relevant engineering qualifications.
