In this exciting role, you’ll engage with schools, communities, and prospective students — showcasing how our courses, support, and career pathways can unlock their potential. You’ll be the face of the college, helping students see how far they can go with the right guidance and environment. Site Information Our Openshaw campus is a vibrant, modern hub of learning, equipped with outstanding, industry‑standard facilities designed to inspire both staff and students. Located just outside Manchester city centre, the campus offers a wide range of vocational and academic courses, with specialist spaces for areas such as construction, engineering, health, and digital. Skills, Qualifications and Experience * Achieved or willingness to work towards a Level 3 Advice & Guidance qualification. * Level 2 Maths and English. * Able to demonstrate a strong customer service background. * Excellent written and verbal communication skills. * Confidence to engage with stakeholders at all levels. * Excellent presentation skills. * Ability to work effectively in cross‑college teams and establish positive relationships. * Ability to foster a culture of positive teamwork. * Strong self‑management skills to effectively manage calendars, delegated tasks, and workload. * Aptitude for data handling and analysis skills. * Strong IT skills. * Access to a vehicle and a valid driving licence is required for this post. * Applicants must be flexible and prepared to work mornings, evenings and occasional weekends for outreach and recruitment events. * Applicants must be willing to travel to outreach and recruitment events across Greater Manchester and occasionally outside of Greater Manchester.
