PDI & Compound Support Coordinator

For over 75 years, Vospers has been helping people across the South West find the perfect vehicle. As a family-owned business, we combine the strength and stability of a leading motor dealer group with the supportive culture and career opportunities of a long-established local employer.

We're proud that more than 100 colleagues have celebrated between 10 and 40 years of service with us, a reflection of our commitment to developing talent, recognising success and creating rewarding careers.

Due to continued growth, we're looking for a motivated and customer-focused PDI & Compound Support Coordinator to join our team.

We are looking for a highly organised and proactive PDI & Compound Support Coordinator to join our team in Exeter. This is a key role within the business, where you will support the efficient progression, preparation and movement of vehicles across the dealership.

  • Manage and control key storage
  • Collect accessories from Parts to support vehicle preparation
  • Carry out ad hoc vehicle movements, including to workshops, body shops, and other group sites
  • Check in transporters and inspect incoming vehicles
  • Fuel and charge vehicles to ensure readiness for operational use
  • Inspect incoming vehicles and report any transit damage in line with company procedures

What we're looking for

We're looking for individuals who are driven, personable and passionate. You'll ideally have:

  • Full, clean UK driving licence
  • Strong organisational skills and attention to detail
  • Ability to manage multiple tasks and prioritise effectively
  • Good communication and teamwork skills
  • Proactive, reliable and flexible approach
  • Previous experience in an automotive or dealership environment (desirable)
  • Experience in vehicle logistics, stock control, or workshop coordination (desirable)
  • Understanding of PDI processes and vehicle preparation (desirable)

Why join Vospers?

At Vospers, we invest in our people and recognise that our success is built on theirs. In return for your commitment, you'll benefit from:

  • 30 days annual leave including bank holidays, increasing with length of service
  • A paid day off to celebrate your birthday
  • Staff discounts on vehicle purchases, servicing, MOTs and parts
  • Access to a wide range of discounts across major retailers and brands
  • Paid sickness scheme after 1 years' service
  • Employee Assistance Programme and wellbeing support services
  • Cycle to Work scheme
  • Manufacturer-specific training and access to our Vospers 5 and Emerging Leaders Development programmes
  • Generous staff referral and customer referral schemes
  • A supportive, inclusive culture with forums you're welcome to join from day 1, using your voice to make Vospers an even better place to work
