THE ROLE
\nWe are currently seeking a CIVIL ENGINEER to work on the design of Drainage, Earthworks and Highways.
\nThe role is based in LEEDS, WEST YORKSHIRE.
\nThis is an excellent opportunity to join a growing firm of consulting engineers who offer the right candidates interesting projects to work on and good prospects for promotion.
\n\nTHE CLIENT
\nOur client is a successful, expanding firm of consulting engineers doing Civil, Structural and Geotechnical Engineering.
\nTHE CANDIDATE
\nYou will need to have experience of the following:-
\nYou must have a BSc in Civil Engineering or Structural Engineering and possibly an MSc in Civil or Structural Engineering would be useful although not essential.
\nYou should have around four years or more experience working as a Civil Engineer doing design engineering.
\nOur client would prefer someone who has experience of working for a UK firm of consulting engineers.
\nYou are likely to either be working towards becoming chartered or be keen to work towards chartership.
\nYou should have experience in designing and detailing of drainage, earthworks and highways.
\n\nYou should be able to prepare plans and drawings for all stages of the project.
\nYou must be able to produce design drawings.
\nYou should have used Autodesk AutoCAD Civil 3D and Civils 3D.
\nYou will report to a Senior or Principal Engineer.
\nYou must have worked in the UK for another firm of consulting engineers and have excellent knowledge and experience of using UK codes and regulations.
\nA full UK driving licence is required along with your own vehicle to enable you to attend meetings and get to sites, some of which may be fairly remote.
\nSalary is negotiable and there is an excellent package of company benefits which includes pension contribution, health insurance, bonus and more.
