Position Overview
The Senior Tax Accountantis responsible forsupporting the Companysmulti-statetax compliance reporting and planning activities across agrowing national rolewill focus on state and local tax obligations including income/franchise tax sales and use tax nexus considerations registrations apportionment and related compliance requirements while partnering closely with Finance leadership and external advisors to ensureaccuratetimelyfilings and strong internal controls.
This is a highly collaborative individual contributor role requiringstrongtechnicalstate and localtaxexperience sound judgment in interpreting jurisdictional requirementsand the ability to communicatetax implications clearlyacross functions in a fast-growing multi-entityorganization.
Key Responsibilities
- Prepare and support federal state and local tax filingswith an emphasis on multi-stateincome/franchise tax salesandusetax gross receipts property tax and otherjurisdiction-specificreturns.
- Coordinate with external tax advisors to support compliance research and tax planning initiatives.
- Assistwith tax provisions audit support and related documentation.
- Monitor and interpret changes in tax regulations across multiplejurisdictions.
- Support the integration of newlyacquiredentities from a tax compliance perspective.
- Partner cross-functionallywith Accounting and Finance to ensureaccuratetax reporting and alignment with financial close processes.
- Contribute to process improvements and documentation to enhance tax controls and efficiency as the organization scales.
Qualifications
- Bachelors degree in Accountingor related fieldrequired; CPA preferred.
- 5 years of progressive tax experiencewith significant exposure to multi-state tax compliancein a multi-entityor growth-oriented organization.
- Strong understanding of federal and state tax compliance requirements.
- Experience working with external auditors or tax advisors.
- Experienced in accounting software and tax reportingtools. Proficient with Microsoft Office Suite including advanced Excel capabilities.

Compensation & Benefits
The salary range for this position is $90000 $115000 annually. Final compensation will be determined based on experience skills and qualifications.
This position may also be eligible toparticipatein Lakefields annual incentive bonus program subject to eligibility and plan terms.
