Protocol Education is recruiting a full-time Speech and Language Teaching Assistant to support learners with speech, language and communication needs within a specialist educational setting in Newcastle upon Tyne. Working alongside experienced teachers and Speech and Language Therapists, you'll help pupils develop their communication skills, access learning confidently and achieve milestones that can have a lifelong impact.

- Supporting speech and language interventions
- Encouraging communication throughout the school day
- Working alongside teachers and Speech and Language professionals
- Adapting classroom resources to meet individual needs
- Supporting learners during lessons and social activities

Experience in education, healthcare, SEND or Speech and Language support is welcomed but not essential.

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay. This advert is for a temporary position. In some cases, the option to make this role permanent may become available at a later date.
