We are looking for an experienced Restaurant Manager to join the team at BFI Riverfront!
With spectacular views of Waterloo Bridge and the Thames our vibrant BFI Riverfront restaurant and bar is the hottest spot on the Southbank.
Salary: (depending on experience) Generous service charge
Contract: Full Time / Permanent
About the Restaurant Manager role:
As Restaurant Manager you will support the day-to-day running of the restaurant leading service from the floor and ensuring a consistently high standard of customer experience. Youll work closely with the General Manager Assistant General Manager and the Operations Manager to drive operational excellence team engagement and commercial performance.
Youll be a hands-on leader with a strong presence on the floor supporting the team during service coaching team members in real time and ensuring smooth and efficient operations throughout the day.
You will also:
Support in delivering exceptional service and operational standards
Lead and motivate the team during busy services
Help oversee reservations table management and guest flow
Handle customer feedback and resolve issues professionally
Support recruitment onboarding and training of team members
Drive team engagement and create a positive working environment
Support labour control productivity and commercial performance
Ensure compliance with food safety health & safety and company procedures
Maintain high standards of cleanliness presentation and service at all times
Deputise for senior management when required
Qualifications :
Previous experience in a restaurant management role
Excellent product knowledge (food & beverage)
Strong communication and organisational skills
Confident leading a team in a fast-paced environment
Excellent customer care and problem-solving skills
Positive supportive and team-focused approach
Ability to take initiative and lead by example
Good understanding of restaurant operations and service standards
Flexible and reliable with a hands-on attitude
