Join Our Team: Attraction Assistant (Casual hours)Were excited to welcome a new Casual Attraction Assistant at our North West your future and lock in your career as we keep our canals open and Hours & LocationAre you looking for some occasional hours in an exciting customer service environmentDo you enjoy interacting with customers from across the UK and the worldDo you need the flexibility to work occasionally when it fits in with your day-to-day lifeThis role offers flexible adhoc working hours across the year based at our Ellesmere Port OverviewAs a Casual Attraction Assistant you will be working in the café and retail areas of the museum offering a wonderful warm welcome to visitors from all over the focus is to make sure that every visit is memorable. The role is incredibly diverse and may include welcoming tour groups selling popular merchandise assisting with events and activities cleaning duties directing families around the siteselling ice cream engaging with boaters assisting with demonstrations and working with AccountabilitiesProvide a warm welcome and a positive retail items or supporting activities at events ensuring every visitor feels welcome and is keen to that customer excellence is always a priority - being approachable and helpfulin responding quickly to questions and dealing with enquiries particularly whenon the admissions desk or by phone/ and delivery of special approach to the rota to work across departments involving café retail and admissions/welcome stock is kept up to date replenished recorded and help to prepare any stocktaking the team with general duties that arise throughout the day such as distributing post receiving and recording general youIf youre looking to work in a unique lively and engaging visitor attraction with iconic status this could be the perfect environment for appreciate the importance of every customer interaction and how your role directly shapes a guests experiencewhether theyre here for a holiday outing a special event an educational visit or a trip with able to work occasional weekdays but you understand that weekends bank holidays and school holidays are when we are at our busiest and when youre most likely to be youre passionate about delivering memorable experiences wed love to hear from & QualificationsYou may have some relevant experience in a similar customer facing environment (e.g retail hospitality) however more importantly you can demonstrate you understand what a great customer experience isBasic IT skills - using Microsoft Office & Internet and willing to learn our systemsDemonstrate excellent interpersonal skills - courteous and helpfulAbility to work well under pressure during busy periods and thrive on a busy working environmentAttention to detailAbility to prioritise tasks and manage workloadContact & ApplicationIf you have any questions feel free to reach out to us at We encourage early applications as we may close the vacancy once we receive enough suitable We OfferWe offer an annual salary of 14.24 per hour.
