Job Description As a Copywriter, you will engage readers and motivate them to contribute to IWI’s programmes or campaigns. You may also write copy designed to convey valuable information about IWI. You should be a team‑spirited, skilled and imaginative writer with an eye for detail who can grasp project requirements quickly and offer valuable insight. Key Deliverables * Team Liaison: Work directly with the director, checking in regularly by phone, email, Skype or face‑to‑face. Coordinate with teams to ensure visual elements complement the copy. * Project Scoping: Tailor content and style for individual assignments, identify key messages, understand what the reader should feel and do, and communicate this powerfully. Know the target audience and their interests. * Website Content: Write for web pages, social media and video scripts. Qualifications * Strong listening skills * Excellent writing ability, including the ability to write in different styles and to other peoples direction * Good research and analytical skills to gain an accurate understanding of the subject in question * Organisational ability to manage multiple projects, often to tight deadlines * Creative approach, both in coming up with ideas for new projects and for getting a message across innovatively * Ability to work independently and flexibly * Good attention to detail, including the ability to proof‑read your own work * Strong interpersonal skills as you will be working with a range of team members * Highly self‑motivated and able to work autonomously, take initiative and make decisions * Strong leadership skills Additional Information All your information will be kept confidential according to EEO guidelines.
