Work Culture

  • 37hr working week although hours may vary depending on role job requirement or site-specific arrangements.

APNT (Assured Positioning Navigation & Timing)

Our APNT business works ethically to provide Anti-Jam systems to our customers who include but are not limited to the US DoD and Royal Air Force. Our business has the benefit of working in a challenging environment: a complex engineering and legislative environment with frequent changes we are therefore keen to hear from someone who can create momentum within a programme work effectively with other team members to deliver results and adapt to change.

Summary of Role:

Raytheon UKs APNT team is seeking a confident and driven Project Manager to lead a highperforming Integrated Project Team within the business and take the lead on a key programme as well as support continued growth to the business. This role will manage the delivery of technically complex highprofile projects while building strong relationships with customers and internal stakeholders.

The successful candidate will drive ontime highquality delivery identify and support new business opportunities. Success will require innovative thinking forward planning and an ability to react quickly to changes. As a valuable member of the APNT team identifying and securing new opportunities working collaboratively with the wider company and creating an inclusive environment for your team to grow are important to the success of this role. The position also offers opportunities for national and international travel to customers and suppliers.

Qualifications You Must Have *

  • Degree-qualified in a technical manufacturing or project management discipline (or equivalent experience); formal PM qualification desirable
  • Proven Project Manager with experience delivering complex projects to time cost quality and P&L targets
  • Strong issue scope risk and opportunity management skills
  • Confident decisionmaker using project data and performance metrics
  • Experience managing project finances reporting and forecasting
  • Ability to lead and direct multidisciplinary teams effectively
  • Able and willing to travel domestically and internationally.
  • Willing to challenge and question
  • Proven ability to create and identify new opportunities for business
  • Able to establish and nurture productive relationships both internally and externally.


Qualifications We Prefer

  • Experience in relevant industry domains
  • Strong stakeholder management skills including customer and senior leadership engagement
  • Experience in capture/proposal management and winning bids
  • Excellent communication influencing and presentation skills
  • Proactive problemsolver able to work under pressure
  • Credible engagement with technical specialists and budget management
