We are looking for an experienced and passionate Service Manager to lead our Supported Living service and inspire a team committed to delivering exceptional care and support.
The RoleAs Service Manager you will be responsible for the day-to-day operational management of our Supported Living service ensuring that the people we support receive safe effective and high-quality support tailored to their individual needs and aspirations.
You will lead and develop a skilled workforce promote a positive and inclusive culture maintain compliance with regulatory requirements and work closely with families professionals and stakeholders to achieve the best possible outcomes for those we support.

Key Responsibilities
- Lead and manage the daily operation of the Supported Living service.
- Ensure people receive high-quality person-centred support that promotes independence and choice.
- Develop review and oversee support plans risk assessments and care documentation.
- Ensure compliance with CQC standards safeguarding requirements the Mental Capacity Act and other relevant legislation.
- Lead motivate supervise and develop the staff team.
- Manage recruitment induction training performance management and staff development.
- Ensure safe staffing levels through effective rota management.
- Oversee medication management incidents accidents safeguarding concerns and complaints.
- Conduct audits spot checks competency assessments and quality monitoring activities.
- Support continuous improvement and contribute to quality assurance and governance processes.
- Build positive relationships with service users families commissioners local authorities and healthcare professionals.
- Participate in the management on-call rota and provide guidance and support during emergencies.
- Support service development referrals assessments transitions and occupancy growth.
About YouYou will be a confident and compassionate leader with experience managing services within Supported Living Learning Disabilities Autism Mental Health or Adult Social Care.
Essential Requirements- Previous management experience within a Supported Living or Adult Social Care setting.
- Strong understanding of safeguarding person-centred care and positive risk management.
- Knowledge of CQC regulations the Mental Capacity Act and Deprivation of Liberty Safeguards.
- Experience leading teams conducting supervisions and managing performance.
- Excellent communication leadership and organisational skills.
- Experience completing audits and maintaining high-quality standards.
- Ability to build effective relationships with families professionals and external stakeholders.
- Full UK driving licence and access to a vehicle.
Desirable- Level 5 Diploma in Leadership for Health and Social Care (or willingness to work towards).
- Experience supporting CQC inspections.
- Experience managing supported living services for adults with learning disabilities and/or autism.
