Position: Art Teacher Location: Luton Contract: Full-Time Start Date: September Key Stages: KS3–KS5 Art Teaching Role in a Studio School A creative and innovative Studio School in Luton is seeking to appoint a talented Art Teacher to join its successful Creative Arts department from September. This is an exciting opportunity to work within a school that combines academic learning with project-based education, helping students develop both artistic talent and employability skills. Art is a central part of the curriculum, with students encouraged to explore their creativity, develop technical expertise, and build professional portfolios through a range of practical and collaborative projects. About the Role You will teach Art across Key Stage 3, Key Stage 4, and Key Stage 5, delivering engaging lessons that inspire creativity, experimentation, and independent thinking. Students will explore a broad range of disciplines including drawing, painting, printmaking, sculpture, mixed media, digital art, and contemporary creative practices. You will support learners in developing strong practical skills while encouraging critical analysis and artistic reflection. The successful candidate will prepare students for GCSE and A-Level Art qualifications, guiding them through portfolio development, coursework projects, and exhibition work. You will also contribute to creative partnerships, industry-linked projects, and enrichment opportunities that enhance students' understanding of careers within the creative sector.
