Job description
Payroll & Pensions Administrator Lakeland Dairies - Killygarry Cavan ,Reporting to thePayroll and Pensions Manager ROI, the successful candidate will work in a fast-paced environment in close collaboration with the HR team providing pension administration to both internal and external stakeholders across a dynamic and strongly growing business as well as payroll administration for assigned payroll tasks. Key Responsibilities include (Not limited to: PENSION ADMINISTRATION: Responsibility for administration of both Defined Benefit Scheme and Defined Contribution Retirement Savings Plan. Preparation of annual pension and life cover renewal; calculating pensionable salaries, death in service cover and contributions annually in accordance with scheme rules. Review employee changes that may effect changes in renewal such as membership type, contribution amount, etc. Answer queries from pension administrators on renewal. Coordinating activities required when an employee is retiring. Arrange retirement training, and retirement benefit options statement, inform payroll of pension details, etc. Responsibility for administration and successful completion of the Debrant & LDZ payroll to agreed schedule and timelines. Supporting the successful execution of other ROI payroll tasks as assigned including weekly and monthly payrolls. ECP PROJECT Provide expert payroll knowledge across all stages of the ECP implementation. Attend ECP Workshops as required to ensure statutory, regulatory, and business payroll requirements are fully reflected in the solution Review data mapping, transformation rules, and migration outputs. Identify data issues and support remediation activities. Provide test scenarios and validate payroll test scripts. Who are we looking for? Essential Proficiency in payroll software and Microsoft Excel Experience in payroll processing and pension administration Strong knowledge of payroll legislation and statutory deductions High level of accuracy and attention to detail Strong numerical and analytical skills Good communication and customer service skills Ability to handle confidential information Desirable Substancial years experience with payroll Knowledge of pension schemes Relevant qualification (e.g., IPASS Payroll Technician Certificate or similar) If you have the necessary skills and attributes to meet this challenging opportunity in a dynamic, high volume and fast-moving business, we would be delighted to hear from you!
