Job description
ECONOMICS TEACHER – BRADFORD Start Date: September 2026 Contract: Full-time, Permanent Salary: Paid to scale Economics Teacher A well-established secondary school in Bradford is seeking a committed Economics Teacher to join a supportive and collaborative Social Sciences department. This is an excellent opportunity to work within a structured environment where student progress and high expectations are central to school priorities. The successful candidate will deliver Economics across KS4 and KS5, ensuring lessons are well-planned, engaging, and appropriately differentiated. A strong understanding of microeconomics, macroeconomics, and economic application is essential. You will be expected to use assessment data effectively to inform planning and intervention strategies, ensuring all students are supported to achieve strong examination outcomes. The role also involves contributing to curriculum development, departmental resources, and standardisation of assessment practices. School Information The school is an 11–18 mixed secondary in Bradford with a strong reputation for behaviour management and academic support. Leadership is stable, visible, and committed to improving teaching and learning across all departments. Students are respectful and respond well to structured teaching approaches. The school provides a calm and purposeful learning environment supported by clear systems and expectations.
