Role description:
As an Associate Director Local Government you will play a key leadership role in growing Arcadis presence across the local government sector. You will lead client relationships shape and win new opportunities and oversee the successful delivery of complex programmes and projects that help local authorities respond to financial social environmental and operational challenges.
Working across multidisciplinary teams you will bring together the best of Arcadis to deliver integrated solutions in areas such as transformation regeneration infrastructure asset management and sustainability.
Role accountabilities:
- Lead and develop senior client relationships within local government acting as a trusted advisor.
- Identify shape and win new business opportunities aligned to Arcadis growth strategy.
- Oversee project and programme delivery ensuring strong client outcomes commercial performance and quality.
- Collaborate across teams and service lines to deliver integrated value-led solutions.
- Support bid development account planning forecasting and pipeline growth.
- Lead coach and develop teams promoting a high-performance and inclusive culture.
- Contribute to Arcadis market profile through sector insight thought leadership and external engagement.
Qualifications & Experience:
- Significant experience working with local government clients ideally within consultancy advisory or programme delivery.
- Proven ability to build senior stakeholder relationships and win new work.
- Strong understanding of local government priorities governance and funding pressures.
- Experience leading multidisciplinary teams and managing complex client environments.
- Strong commercial communication and leadership skills.
- Degree-qualified or equivalent experience; relevant professional membership desirable.
