Job description
Office Manager - Independent School - Maidstone Start Date: As soon as possible Contract: Full-time, Permanent Salary: Paid to scale Office Manager A highly regarded Independent School in Maidstone is seeking an experienced Office Manager to lead its administrative operations on a full-time, permanent basis. This is an excellent opportunity for a professional and organised individual who enjoys working within a fast-paced educational environment and can effectively manage a busy school office. The successful candidate will play a central role in ensuring the smooth running of administrative systems while supporting staff, students, parents and senior leaders. Responsibilities will include overseeing office administration, managing support staff, coordinating communications, maintaining student records and ensuring compliance with school policies and procedures. You will be responsible for managing admissions administration, organising meetings and events, overseeing school correspondence and ensuring all administrative processes operate efficiently. The successful candidate will also support senior leaders with reports, data management and operational projects. The role requires excellent organisational abilities, strong leadership skills and the ability to prioritise effectively while maintaining exceptional attention to detail.
