CYP School Coordinator Job Pack We’re excited to be recruiting for a Children and Young People’s School Coordinator to join our growing Children and Young People’s Team. This is an exciting opportunity to deliver a range of early intervention and resilience-based projects in primary and secondary schools and colleges across Lancashire, supporting children and young people to improve their mental health and wellbeing. Job title : Children and Young People’s School Coordinator Hours: Full-time, 35 hours per week Contract: Fixed-term until 31 Aug 2027 Starting salary: £25,850 starting salary, with eligibility for pay review after 12 months Location: Based in our Head Office in Leyland with delivery taking place across Lancashire Application deadline: 9:00AM Monday 3rd August 2026 Interview date: Thursday 13th August 2026 We’re looking for a bold and caring individual to join our Children and Young People’s team. We want someone who has experience of engaging and working with children and young people, ideally within schools, and who is passionate about making a difference to young people’s mental health and wellbeing. In this role, you’ll deliver a range of support in schools and colleges, including assemblies, group programmes and workshops on topics such as resilience, anxiety and wellbeing, as well as 1:1 support where needed. You’ll also work closely with school staff and partners, building strong relationships and ensuring our support meets the needs of children and young people. To succeed in the role, you will need excellent communication skills, be confident, driven and able to work independently. You will be warm, engaging and creative, with the ability to build rapport quickly with young people and school staff. You’ll also be flexible, able to adapt your practice to different settings and respond to the needs of the organisation and the communities we serve. You will have a good understanding of the barriers some young people face in achieving good mental health and wellbeing, and a commitment to early intervention and building resilience. This is an exciting time for Lancashire Mind as our children and young people’s services continue to grow, enabling us to reach and support more people across the county. We’re looking for people who share our vision of a Lancashire where everyone can have the best mental health and wellbeing possible. Lancashire Mind has a dedicated workplace wellbeing programme to support staff, including an Employee Assistance Programme, a paid wellbeing half day and regular wellbeing activities. We also offer a workplace pension scheme, paid emergency time off to care for dependents, regular supervision and a strong commitment to learning and development. We’ve recently enhanced our annual leave offer, with 25 days annual leave (plus bank holidays), additional closure days over Christmas, long service leave, and the option to buy or sell annual leave.
