Caretaker - Mixed Secondary School - Doncaster Start Date: As soon as possible Contract: Full-time, Permanent Salary: Paid to scale Caretaker A successful Mixed Secondary School in Doncaster is seeking a dependable and hardworking Caretaker to join its premises team on a full-time, permanent basis. This is an excellent opportunity for an individual who takes pride in maintaining a safe, secure and well-maintained learning environment for students and staff. The successful candidate will be responsible for the day-to-day upkeep of the school site, ensuring that all buildings and grounds remain safe, clean and operational throughout the year. Responsibilities will include opening and closing the premises, carrying out routine maintenance and repairs, monitoring health and safety compliance, conducting site inspections and supporting the preparation of facilities for school events and activities. You will work closely with the Site Team and leadership staff to identify maintenance issues, coordinate contractors and ensure all areas of the school are maintained to a high standard. The role requires a practical and proactive individual who can work independently while responding effectively to the changing needs of a busy school environment.
