Specialty Doctor in Adult Psychiatry - Sheffield Sheffield, Yorkshire Job Title: Specialty Doctor – Adult Psychiatry Grade: Specialty Doctor Location: Sheffield, Yorkshire Working Hours: 40 hours per week We are currently seeking a highly skilled and committed Specialty Doctor in Adult Psychiatry to join our client’s mental health service in Sheffield, Yorkshire. This is an exciting opportunity to work within a well‑established team, providing expert psychiatric care to adults with complex mental health needs. The role is available on a locum basis with an immediate start and offers competitive rates. Responsibilities As a Specialty Doctor in Adult Psychiatry, you will: * Provide high‑quality psychiatric care to patients within community and inpatient settings. * Work closely with multidisciplinary teams to assess, diagnose, and manage mental health conditions. * Contribute to care planning and support recovery‑focused treatment. * Participate in clinical meetings, risk assessments, and safeguarding procedures. * Apply strong understanding of mental health legislation and work autonomously while contributing to team‑based care. Qualifications & Experience * Full GMC registration – essential. * Minimum of 3 years’ experience in psychiatry. * Strong clinical assessment and diagnostic skills. * Excellent communication and multidisciplinary team collaboration. * Commitment to patient‑centred care and service improvement.
