We are recruiting for Controls Senior Manager to join our COO team. This is a great opportunity for someone who enjoys supporting the first line with controls assurance and is motivated by enhancing confidence in the effectiveness of the control environment ensuring robust and reliable processes are in place.
With a global remit spanning operations transformation and IT our COO team ensures an exceptional client experience. Whether its optimising key processes managing relationships with strategic partners launching innovative new products or onboarding clients seamlessly every project is an opportunity to drive efficiency and innovation at scale.
A bit about the role:
This role supports the first line in delivering effective controls assurance ensuring a strong and reliable control environment across the business. It involves partnering closely with stakeholders to embed robust risk and controls frameworks including controls testing risk assessment and issue resolution. The role plays a key part in driving strategic project delivery maintaining strong relationships and providing both support and constructive challenge to senior stakeholders. Success is measured through high-quality timely deliverables continuous improvement and the ability to foster a strong risk and controls culture.
Skills and experience were looking for:
Qualified Chartered Accountant (ACA/ACCA) or equivalent (e.g. IMC) with strong knowledge of risks controls and the ORCM framework
Solid experience in financial services or investment management with expertise in operational risk
Excellent communication and influencing skills with the ability to engage and challenge stakeholders at all levels
Strong analytical and technical capabilities including data handling Excel reporting and MI production
Proven stakeholder management and project delivery skills with a proactive solutions-focused mindset and strong governance ethics
