Materials Planner

Description:

Responsible for planning and scheduling of the materials required to execute the manufacturing plan. Works with the Master Production Scheduler and supply chain to translate the demand (forecasts sales orders planned orders) across multiple time horizons in to physical orders and ensures they are delivered to meet the customer requirements.

The MRP Planner (d/f/m) is responsible for allocating monitoring and releasing demand to make sure that material is available to meet the Production Schedule and Customer deliverables. The role will be part our Manufacturing Planning Team. This role will oversee and manage the material availability for our manufacturing facility; identify any potential risks and mitigate any production downtime.

As a MRP Material Planner (d/f/m) you will be responsible for:
- Reviewing the ERP system daily ensuring material quantities are available to execute the project as per BOM. This includes converting ERP (Oracle ASCP) suggested requirements into purchase requisitions.
- Supporting Master Production Scheduler to ensure material is available to meet the manufacturing plan or highlighting risks and lead to issue resolution.
- Acting as an interface between the project and procurement teams and production planners supporting all departments in order to minimise loss of time in Manufacture.
- Analysing and monitoring inventory levels to ensure continuous material flow to manufacturing operations while supporting business cash flow targets.
- Coordinating the resolution of problems and maintaining the ASCP dates through regular communication with Production Control and Master Scheduler.
- Managing data quality on the ERP system.

To be successful in this role you will:
- Have a High School Diploma with proven experience in Material Planning
- Have prior experience of MRP / ERP systems with experience with Oracle ASCP
- Have a Knowledge of Engineering BOM structures
- Have communication influencing and organizational skills
- Have sound computer skills: Outlook Excel Power Point etc.

- 1 day Homeoffice possible (after training phase)
- Rate per day: 20609 // per hour: 1794
- 37.5 week. Option of compressed week: half day on Friday additional 1hr Mon-Thurs.
