Summary:
Redbridge Council is seeking a highly skilled and motivated Reviews Officer to undertake independent and legally compliant reviews of housing homelessness and allocations decisions. The postholder will play a key role in ensuring that statutory duties under housing legislation are fulfilled delivering fair transparent and timely review outcomes for residents.The role involves managing complex housing review cases including homelessness decisions suitability of accommodation reviews housing register appeals and legal challenges. The successful candidate will work closely with vulnerable households legal representatives internal teams and partner agencies to prevent homelessness improve housing outcomes and ensure compliance with relevant legislation and best practice.
