We are looking for an experienced and passionate Service Manager to lead our Supported Living service and inspire a team committed to delivering exceptional care and support. The Role As Service Manager, you will be responsible for the day-to-day operational management of our Supported Living service, ensuring that the people we support receive safe, effective, and high-quality support tailored to their individual needs and aspirations. You will lead and develop a skilled workforce, promote a positive and inclusive culture, maintain compliance with regulatory requirements, and work closely with families, professionals, and stakeholders to achieve the best possible outcomes for those we support. Key Responsibilities * Lead and manage the daily operation of the Supported Living service. * Ensure people receive high-quality, person-centred support that promotes independence and choice. * Develop, review, and oversee support plans, risk assessments, and care documentation. * Ensure compliance with CQC standards, safeguarding requirements, the Mental Capacity Act, and other relevant legislation. * Lead, motivate, supervise, and develop the staff team. * Manage recruitment, induction, training, performance management, and staff development. * Ensure safe staffing levels through effective rota management. * Oversee medication management, incidents, accidents, safeguarding concerns, and complaints. * Conduct audits, spot checks, competency assessments, and quality monitoring activities. * Support continuous improvement and contribute to quality assurance and governance processes. * Build positive relationships with service users, families, commissioners, local authorities, and healthcare professionals. * Participate in the management on-call rota and provide guidance and support during emergencies. * Support service development, referrals, assessments, transitions, and occupancy growth. About You You will be a confident and compassionate leader with experience managing services within Supported Living, Learning Disabilities, Autism, Mental Health, or Adult Social Care. Essential Requirements * Previous management experience within a Supported Living or Adult Social Care setting. * Strong understanding of safeguarding, person-centred care, and positive risk management. * Knowledge of CQC regulations, the Mental Capacity Act, and Deprivation of Liberty Safeguards. * Experience leading teams, conducting supervisions, and managing performance. * Excellent communication, leadership, and organisational skills. * Experience completing audits and maintaining high-quality standards. * Ability to build effective relationships with families, professionals, and external stakeholders. * Full UK driving licence and access to a vehicle. Desirable * Level 5 Diploma in Leadership for Health and Social Care (or willingness to work towards). * Experience supporting CQC inspections. * Experience managing supported living services for adults with learning disabilities and/or autism.
