You'll support the day-to-day running of the HR function, including administration, HR processes, colleague initiatives, events, projects and policy guidance for managers.

This is a part-time role : *24 hours per week*, based onsite at *Hotel Indigo Torquay*, with flexibility on working days and shifts dependent on business needs.

• Your main responsibilities will be : Support the People Plan and help create a positive colleague experience. * Coach and advise managers on HR policy, performance, retention and colleague matters. * Support recruitment, onboarding and the first 90 days for new colleagues. * Help identify talent and development opportunities, including early careers activity. * Use HR systems and data to track activity, share insights and support decisions. * Deliver colleague survey activity, action planning and consistent HR standards. * Improve HR processes and ways of working, monitoring progress against objectives. *To succeed as an HR Advisor, you will need : At least 2 years' HR Advisor / generalist experience, ideally in hospitality, retail or another fast-paced service environment. * CIPD Level 5 is desired but not essential, a good understanding of UK employment law and best practice is essential for this role. * Confidence advising managers and finding practical, people-focused solutions. * Strong organisation, attention to detail and the ability to manage multiple priorities. * A proactive, resilient and confident approach, with the ability to work independently. * Confidence using HR systems, reporting and data to support decision-making. * A clear passion for building a positive, inclusive workplace culture.
