JOB DESCRIPTION Overall purpose We are recruiting for a Student Finance Officer on a permanent basis.
The role will be hybrid and the successful candidate will have ideally have experience working in the Education sector and have experience chasing student debt.
Specific duties and responsibilities · Provide accurate and up to date financial guidance to students and potential students regarding student loans.
Additional duties: N/A Essential Requirements: · Must be able to work flexibly in a team · Experience working in a busy office or experience working in administration · Provide excellent customer care for the department, including advice to internal and external customers Person Specification EXPERIENCE & PERSONAL QUALITIES Essential: • Experience of managing, presenting and maintaining complex data • Significant experience of working with the public in an environment where good customer care is a guiding principle • Experience of liaison with colleagues in various departments and levels across an organisation Excellent organisational skills and time management • Highly numerate • Ability to supervise staff • Experience Desirable: • Experience of working in a student finance related environment • Will need to be able to work under pressure and resilient.
