Retrieving blood results via Web V and forwarding to consultants
Accessing clinic letters through DDA (Digital Document Archives)
Viewing and sharing radiology reports (MRI, CT, DaTscan) via CRIS
Handling unexpected radiology alerts and forwarding to the relevant consultant
Diagnostic and referral tracker
Logging new referrals and diagnostic test requests
Updating the tracker when results are received and pathways are completed
Chasing outstanding results and escalating urgent items to the clinical team
Patient queries
Handling patient queries received by phone and email
Verifying patient identity and resolving administrative queries directly
Referring clinical questions to the appropriate clinician
Escalating urgent patient concerns to the clinical team promptly
Consultant queries
Acting as first point of administrative contact for consultant queries
Retrieving patient results, letters, and referral information on request
Coordinating with other departments to chase outstanding information
Logging and following up outstanding consultant requests until resolved
