About the Role

Costello Medical, a global B Corp certified medical communications firm, continues to grow rapidly thanks to our commitment to delivering an outstanding service and high-quality work to our clients. As a result, we’re looking for a Marketing Coordinator to join our friendly and collaborative External Engagement team. You’ll be part of a team that sits at the center of the business, working closely with colleagues across different teams and locations.

In this role, you’ll help us craft and circulate company news, activities, and our capabilities with the wider world. No two weeks are the same; you might be liaising with our in-house Creative team on marketing materials or supporting events and connecting with various teams across the company.

This role is ideal for highly organised, business-minded individuals with a flair for creative ideation and compelling writing, who enjoy working with structured processes, managing multiple priorities and supporting stakeholders. If you are looking to build a long-term career in B2B or corporate marketing, enjoy variety, teamwork and learning new things, and want to do so within a company that is making a meaningful impact in healthcare, we would be delighted to hear from you.

Key responsibilities will include:

  • Supporting the strategic planning and delivery of marketing campaigns and day-to-day marketing operations for Costello Medical
  • Delivering digital content for LinkedIn, emailers, and other external channels, as well as scheduling and managing communications through HubSpot
  • Helping to maintain our company website, making updates through WordPress to keep content fresh and engaging, reflective of company updates and priorities
  • Assisting with business development initiatives and the production of marketing materials
  • Working with in-house Designers to brief, review and deliver engaging content and materials
  • Analysing marketing metrics to assess the impact of activities, and reporting on outcomes with clear insights and recommendations
  • Supporting the organisation and delivery of client and company events (both virtual and in-person), including occasional travel to other offices
  • Providing general administrative support to the External Engagement team and, if required, the wider Operations department

We’ll invest in your development from day one, with structured training, mentoring and fully funded external opportunities to help you build your skills quickly. As you grow, you’ll have the chance to take on increasing responsibility and shape your role around your interests.

  • Good general IT skills, including Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint), and confidence working with data

Desired requirements for the role are:

  • Experience supporting marketing projects, campaigns or events
  • Analytical skills and experience with paid media, PR, data dashboards, or CRM systems
  • An interest in using technology or AI tools to improve efficiency and ways of working

Hybrid Working Policy: We believe that having face-to-face time in the office holds many benefits and is central to ensuring that the community we have created, where people have a workplace they belong to and feel part of, is never lost. At the same time, we recognise that homeworking can improve work life balance, reduce commuting times and costs, and provide the opportunity to juggle personal commitments.

Therefore, we offer flexible working arrangements that allow our colleagues who have passed probation to work from home up to half their time, measured across a 2-week rolling period. During your probationary period (normally the first 6 months of the role), you will be able to work from home 1 day per week.

The Application Process

You are required to submit your CV and a cover letter via our online application form. In your cover letter, you must explain why you think you would be suited to the role and why you would like to join Costello Medical, with examples to support both. Your CV should clearly state the dates of all qualifications and grades achieved where applicable.

Our recruitment process includes a telephone interview with a member of the Talent Acquisition team, followed by an assessment for you to complete in your own time. If successful, you will be invited to a final interview. Our standard recruitment process lasts around 2 to 4 weeks, however this can be adapted if necessary.

As an equal opportunity employer, we are committed to fostering a diverse and inclusive workforce and, throughout the recruitment process, there are a number of reasonable adjustments we can provide: https://www.costellomedical.com/reasonable-adjustments/

Please note that, whilst we embrace AI to innovate and improve processes, your role may involve working with confidential data that cannot be uploaded to AI. Therefore, it is important for us to assess your own skills and abilities, so we recommend that you do not rely solely on this technology to generate any application materials.

Visa Sponsorship

Please note that this role does not meet the eligibility criteria for visa sponsorship, and you will therefore need the right to work in the UK independently from the company.
