Are you an experienced night yard shunter looking for work in a stable industry during these strange times?? If you answered yes, then look no further - XPO Logistics is recruiting! Were looking for a full-time, permanent Class 1 HGV Shunter Driver to join us based on our site in Sherburn in Elmet. Pay, benefits and more.Shifts are on a rotational basis:
Monday to Friday - Rotating shifts 20:45 - 05:15, 12:45 - 21:15, 04:45 - 13:15
Nights, Afters & Days.
Pay Rates: £30,118.40 per year.
What youll do on a typical day:
You will be working an alternating shift pattern over a 3 week period
You will work in a safe manner at all times
Youll be performing trailer movements in our busy regional yard
You will be driving a Tug on-site so previous experience would be an advantage
All work is yard based, no road work is expected
You must have shunting experience as some manoeuvres are in confined spaces
