SEN Teaching Assistant - Hazelbeck School Trust: Beckfoot Trust Employer: The Supply Register Contract Type: FULL TIME (Bank) Start Date: ASAP Salary: Competitive, dependent on experience About the Role The Supply Register are delighted to be working in partnership with Beckfoot Trust to recruit a dedicated and compassionate SEN Teaching Assistant to support pupils at Hazelbeck School. Hazelbeck School is a specialist setting supporting pupils with a range of complex needs, including severe and profound learning difficulties, autism, and associated communication and sensory needs. This is a rewarding opportunity to make a meaningful difference in the lives of young people who require tailored support to achieve their full potential. Key Responsibilities Provide 1:1 and small group support to pupils with special educational needs Support pupils with EHCP targets and personalised learning plans Assist with communication strategies (including visual supports and alternative communication systems) Promote positive behaviour and emotional regulation Support personal care where required Work collaboratively with teachers, therapists, and support staff Foster a safe, inclusive, and nurturing learning environment The Ideal Candidate Will Have: Experience working with children or adults with SEN (school-based or care setting) A patient, resilient and nurturing approach Stro...
