Job description
Chemistry Teacher Required Salary/Rate: £140 - £200 per day Exclusive Education is looking to appoint a Chemistry Teacher to work in a secondary school. The role is full time and the successful candidate will join a friendly, lively, and vibrant school with small class sizes. Role Overview The Chemistry Teacher will deliver outstanding teaching across Key Stages 3 and 4. The role involves planning and marking curriculum work, delivering both theory and practical lessons, providing some general cover when needed. The school is open to employing either an Early Career Teacher (ECT) or a qualified Chemistry Teacher. The ideal candidate must demonstrate strong behaviour management skills and adhere strictly to school policies. Responsibilities * Plan, prepare, and deliver engaging Chemistry lessons across KS3 and KS4 * Assess and mark students’ work promptly and constructively * Manage and maintain effective classroom behaviour to create a positive learning environment * Adapt teaching methods to meet the diverse needs of pupils with moderate learning difficulties * Collaborate with colleagues to develop and improve the Chemistry curriculum * Support school policies and procedures related to safeguarding and pupil welfare Candidate Requirements * Hold a relevant teaching qualification with QTS (e.g., PGCE, B.Ed., BA Hons) * Eligibility to work in the UK or UK residency * Previous experience working wi...
