Working Hours
42-hour week on day shifts, starting at 07:15am and finishing at 16:30 Monday to Friday
The role:
As a PGMR Permit Issuer, you will help drive our goals by:
• Reviewing job scopes, riskassessmentsand work details to ensure all permitted work is carried out safely
• Issuing permits only when hazards are controlled and safety measures are in place
• Supporting production activities to deliver work safely, on time and to quality standards
• Completing batch documentation, handovers andmaintainingaccurateoperational records
•Identifyingopportunities to improve processes and contributing to continuous improvement activities
• Carrying out basic maintenance checks and reporting incidents, near misses and unsafe conditions
Key skills that will help you succeed in this role:
• Strong commitment to health,safetyand environmental standards
• Good attention to detail and ability to follow procedures accurately
• Ability to work effectively as part of a team and build positive working relationships
•Organisedapproach with the ability to manage tasks and meet deadlines
• Basic understanding of manufacturing,engineeringor chemical processes (desirable)
• Qualification in English,Mathsand Science (GCSE or equivalent)
