An outstanding secondary school set in Herefordshire is seeking a part-time Spanish Teacher to join its Modern Foreign Languages team. This role offers genuine flexibility and would suit a teacher looking for a manageable working pattern within a friendly supportive school.
You will teach Spanish across Key Stage 3 and to GCSE level (Edexcel) working with small class sizes that allow for genuinely personalised teaching. There may be opportunities to contribute to whole-school MFL enrichment days run a languages club and occasionally support colleagues with French cover where needed. The school values teachers who are willing to get involved in the wider life of the school while recognising and respecting the boundaries of a part-time role.

Serving a rural catchment with students bussed in from surrounding villages this school has a genuinely small-school feel with strong relationships between staff students and families. Class sizes are smaller than average and staff describe a supportive senior leadership team that is approachable and responsive. Requirements
Degree in Spanish (or Spanish as part of a joint honours degree) and QTS
Confidence teaching across KS3 and GCSE Spanish
A flexible adaptable approach suited to a small department
Strong communication skills including with parents in a close-knit rural community
Willingness to occasionally support colleagues across the MFL department
