Music Teacher

A well-established Secondary School in Winchester is seeking a professional and highly organised Music Teacher to join their experienced academic team. This is an excellent opportunity to work within a well-structured and supportive school environment where teaching staff play an essential role in the smooth operation of the school.

The successful candidate will provide day-to-day instructional support across multiple key stages and assist senior leaders teaching staff and wider support teams. Responsibilities will include maintaining student progress records updating school tracking systems managing departmental correspondence supporting attendance administration and assisting with the organisation of musical events school concerts and extracurricular ensembles.

You will also support communication with parents students and external agencies while ensuring that information is handled professionally and confidentially at all times. Strong organisational skills are essential as the role requires the ability to prioritise tasks effectively and manage multiple responsibilities within a busy school environment.

The school is looking for someone who is proactive reliable and able to work efficiently both independently and as part of a collaborative academic staff team. Good IT skills and confidence using music tech and recording platforms are important alongside strong communication and interpersonal skills.
