We are seeking a talented and enthusiastic Commis Pastry Chef to join an exceptional pastry team at a renowned luxury country house hotel and spa with live in accommodation.
This is an outstanding opportunity for an ambitious chef looking to build a career within a kitchen known for excellence creativity and the highest standards of food preparation.
Working alongside experienced pastry chefs you will assist in the preparation and presentation of a wide range of desserts pastries breads afternoon tea items and special occasion creations served throughout the hotel.
Responsibilities include:
Assisting with the preparation of pastries desserts breads and petits fours
Maintaining exceptional standards of food quality and presentation
Ensuring all food hygiene and health & safety standards are met
Supporting the pastry team during service
Learning and developing new techniques and skills within a luxury environment
Maintaining a clean and organised workstation
Previous experience within a professional kitchen is desirable
A genuine passion for pastry and baking
Eagerness to learn and develop your culinary skills
Strong attention to detail
Ability to work well as part of a team
Positive attitude and excellent work ethic
