An innovative Secondary School in Newcastle is seeking a professional and highly organised Computer Science Teacher to join their experienced academic team. This is an excellent opportunity to work within a well-structured and supportive school environment where teaching staff play an essential role in the smooth operation of the school.
The successful candidate will provide day-to-day instructional support across multiple key stages specializing in programming logic algorithms cybersecurity and data structures. Responsibilities will include maintaining student progress records updating school tracking systems managing departmental correspondence supporting attendance administration and assisting with the organisation of coding hackathons robotics clubs and STEM initiatives.
You will also support communication with parents students and external agencies while ensuring that information is handled professionally and confidentially at all times. Strong organisational skills are essential as the role requires the ability to prioritise tasks effectively and manage multiple responsibilities within a busy school environment.
The school is looking for someone who is proactive reliable and able to work efficiently both independently and as part of a collaborative computing faculty. Good IT skills and deep confidence using modern integrated development environments (IDEs) and network architectures are important alongside strong communication and interpersonal skills.

Previous teaching or relevant instructional experience in Computer Science up to GCSE/A-Level
Strong organisational and communication skills
Good IT and data management skills
