Job description
Medlock Square marks a bold new chapter in the evolution of the Etihad Campus a vibrant yearround destination for culture leisure and entertainment set alongside two global icons: the Etihad Stadium home of Manchester City Football Club and the landmark Coop Live arena.

Named after the River Medlock that runs beneath the site the development celebrates Manchesters industrial heritage while shaping its next era of citydefining experiences. Manchester is known worldwide for its sport music and entertainment and Medlock Square will build on that legacy creating a landmark home for exceptional shared moments and elevating the citys position as one of Europes most dynamic fastgrowing destinations.

At the heart of this new district will be an extraordinary food and beverage offer: from relaxed coffee houses and allday dining to flagship restaurants and premium culinary experiences. Designed to serve both everyday visitors and major event audiences Medlock Square will deliver highquality hospitality all week long and across the events calendar.

About the role


As a Runner you will play a key role in supporting the smooth delivery of service ensuring food and beverages are delivered accurately efficiently and to the highest standard.

Working closely with Waiters Bartenders and Kitchen teams you will help maintain service flow and support an exceptional guest experience. This is a fast-paced hands-on role where energy teamwork and attention to detail are essential.

Whether delivering refined restaurant service or supporting high-volume matchday and event operations you will help ensure every guest receives a seamless and memorable experience.

You will be responsible for:

Service Support & Guest Experience
Support the delivery of a high-quality guest experience by ensuring food and beverages are delivered promptly and accurately. Maintain strong awareness of table numbers service flow and guest needs while supporting the wider Front of House team throughout service.

Food & Beverage Delivery
Deliver food and drinks safely professionally and in line with company standards. Communicate effectively with kitchen and service teams to ensure accurate delivery and resolve any issues quickly. Support efficient table clearing and resetting to maintain service pace and guest satisfaction.

Operational Excellence
Assist with opening and closing duties ensuring service stations are stocked organised and fully prepared. Maintain cleanliness organisation and presentation standards throughout service while adapting confidently to busy periods including matchdays and major events.

Teamwork & Communication
Work closely with Waiters Bartenders Hosts and Kitchen teams to ensure smooth coordination between Front of House and Back of House. Support colleagues wherever required to maintain service standards and operational efficiency.

Standards & Compliance
Follow all health & safety food safety and company procedures at all times. Maintain high standards of personal presentation professionalism and attention to detail while representing the brand positively.
