We are recruiting for a Operational Risk Reporting Analyst to join our team. This is a great opportunity for someone who has some knowledge of the asset management industry and the risks associated with this. This includes knowledge of financial instruments and a trade lifecycle.

As part of this team youll help manage risk in a fast-changing regulatory landscape safeguard client assets and contribute to ethical responsible investing.

A bit about the role:

The Operational Risk Reporting Analyst plays a key role in supporting the Risk Reporting team and the wider Operational Risk function helping to maintain a strong risk and control environment and ensure ongoing alignment with regulatory requirements. Working closely with senior colleagues you will contribute to the preparation of consolidated risk event reporting and maintain the monthly Risk Reporting KRI dashboard investigating any exceptions or material fluctuations and constructively challenging proposed remedial actions. You will support the delivery of high-quality incident reporting and analysis engaging confidently with internal and external stakeholders to provide insight on risk events and incident management. The role also involves producing data analysis and deep dives to support second line independent reviews assisting in the maintenance of key frameworks including the Risk Events Errors and Breaches Policy and database and monitoring the effectiveness of incident management practices across the business. This is a great opportunity to build strong expertise in Operational Risk Event Management and be recognised as a knowledgeable and trusted partner both internally and externally.

Skills and experience were looking for:

• Degree educated with relevant professional qualification

• Hold relevant professional memberships to support role (not mandatory but highly recommended).

• Some knowledge of risk identification measurement management monitoring and reporting practices across the asset management and other financial services sectors.

• Some knowledge of the workings of the FCA and other global regulators in particular an understanding of their key concerns and how this translates into their objectives in overseeing operational risk management.

• Reasonable knowledge of risk events management.
