Are you passionate about delivering exceptional customer service in one of the UKs most iconic public libraries The Library of Birmingham is looking for a proactive peoplefocused Customer Services Coordinator to help lead our frontofhouse services and ensure every visitor enjoys a welcoming inspiring experience.
As a leading member of our customer-facing team youll coordinate the daytoday delivery of core public services across the Library of Birmingham. Regularly fulfilling the role of duty manager within the building you will take responsibility for ensuring the safe efficient and legal day-to-day operations of the building.
Youll be a visible positive ambassador for the library working closely with colleagues partners volunteers and community groups to support the delivery of a huge range of library services events exhibitions and activities.
This is a handson role where no two days are the same - perfect for someone who thrives in a dynamic publicfacing environment. Youll play a key role in shaping how thousands of people experience the Library of Birmingham every week - supporting learning culture and community in the heart of the city.
The successful candidate will demonstrate strong administrative skills excellent communication abilities and a commitment to delivering highquality public service. Experience in coordinating teams within a customerfacing environment would be a strength as would the ability to work effectively under pressure and in a large complex public building The role would suit someone who is confident organised great with people and comfortable working in a busy public environment.
