We are looking for a Cafe Cook to assist the Head Chef of a busy and popular Whitehaven town centre cafe with the running of the kitchen.
It will be working 37.5 hours per week over 5 days per week. You wont need to work Sundays either (except in December when they do Christmas lunches). We will also consider part-time candidates for this position.
Your job will be to prepare and cook food which looks as good as it tastes whilst ensuring that all food safety and health and safety exceeds expectations.
You will also cover for the Head Chef on his days off and on other days assist him with the running of the kitchen.
If you have at least 2 years experience of working in a busy kitchen or a cookery qualification (such as NVQ levels 1and 2 in professional cookery) then we would love you to apply.
